Most skincare routines fail for one reason: they are too long. Six steps in the morning is a project, not a habit. The routines that last are short, ordered and repeatable, and they leave room for one or two targeted products that actually change something.
The order of application
Whatever you use, the sequence stays the same: thinnest textures first, richest last, so each layer can absorb before the next one seals it in.
- Cleanse. Morning can be water or a gentle cleanser; evening is where cleansing matters, to remove sunscreen, makeup and the day.
- Tone (optional). A hydrating toner preps the skin; an exfoliating toner belongs in the evening, two or three times a week.
- Serum. This is the targeted step: vitamin C in the morning, a peptide or retinol-alternative serum at night.
- Eye care. A small amount, tapped in with the ring finger.
- Moisturise. A lighter cream or gel by day, something richer at night.
- Protect. Sunscreen finishes every morning routine. It is the single most effective anti-ageing product you can use.
A two-minute version
If you only keep three products, make them a cleanser, one serum and a moisturiser with SPF. Add a second serum or an eye cream only once those three are automatic.
Why the numbers help
Every Ojen® product carries a number on the label, from N°01 to N°147. Write your routine down once, as a short list of numbers, and reordering or sharing it takes seconds. The numbers group by collection, so face care sits together, then body, hair and makeup.
Start with our face care collection, or browse by skin concern if you already know what you are solving for.
